Oral Pathology

There are many lesions of the face and jaws that can be benign and malignant. Depending on the diagnosis determines the variety of treatments and surgeries required.

Treatment

The first step in the process begins with a biopsy which reveals the diagnosis thus guiding the treatment as necessary.

Oral Cancer

Usually requires a team approach with hospitalization, major surgery and general anesthesia. Occasionally radiation therapy and chemotherapy may be included in the pre or postoperative care.
